Project Overview: SP Coatings Solutions partnered with RCL to enhance livestock welfare and agricultural sustainability at a local farm in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Through innovative coatings technology, we aimed to regulate temperatures within the sheds using Super Therm® and provide corrosion protection for water tanks and animal feeders.
Challenges and Solutions: The project faced challenges related to maintaining optimal living conditions for livestock in the harsh African climate while ensuring the longevity of infrastructure. Our solution involved applying Super Therm® to shed roofs to regulate temperatures and protect livestock from heat stress. Additionally, we coated water tanks and animal feeders to prevent corrosion and preserve feed quality.
