Project Description
The goal was to stop heat build-up from the sun in a blending warehouse used for grease storage in Argentina. Measurements were taken simultaneously in the coated warehouse and an uncoated blending warehouse for direct comparison.
Coating Solution
Rust Grip® was applied as a primer to stop corrosion on the metal roof, followed by Super Therm® as a topcoat to block solar heat build-up.
Results
4 infrared temperature measurements were taken at the mezzanine level in four different points inside each warehouse. The coated warehouse showed significantly lower temperatures compared to the uncoated building under identical outdoor conditions.
