SuperTherm
Lower your energy costs and do something positive for the environment. SuperTherm is the perfect choice when you want to re insulate the interior of your home or office to keep the heat in during winter and out during summer. When reinsulating the interior with SuperTherm, you don't have to tear the walls out to insulate. You just paint SuperTherm on the existing walls and ceiling. After SuperTherm dries, you can re paint your walls any color you like. SuperTherm also is the leading product for the white roof initiative. More than just a reflective white elastomeric coating, SuperTherm actually blocks 95 % of solar heat from ever entering your home or office, keeping rooms cool and energy bills low. SuperTherm is a ceramic liquid insulation that can be sprayed, rolled or brushed onto any interior or exterior surface.

Super Therm: Uses and application points
Industrial and Commercial:
- Reduces air conditioning cost in buildings by preventing heat load /gain on roof (blocks 95 % of solar heat). Superior performance compared to an elastomeric reflective white coating
- Weatherize building by preventing heat gain, Air and Moisture infiltration thru exterior walls. Spay Super Therm on the building exterior walls prior to installing brick, stucco, siding etc. to seal out air, moisture and heat infiltration.
- Used on interior ceiling and walls to keep heat in during winter time for new construction and existing buildings. Super Therm prevents Air, Moisture infiltration and heat loss thru interior walls.
- Insulate freezers or refrigeration units to protect goods and reduce costs.
- Reduce fuel consumption when applied to the roof of refrigerated trucks.
- Protect goods by reducing heat load when applied to roof of long haul trailers designed to carry perishables.
- Reduce risk of condensation on exterior cold water pipes.
- Insulate oil and gas storage tanks to prevent evaporation by blocking solar heat gain on the surface of the tanks.
- Insulate air conditioning unit outer casings to prevent reductions in efficiency due to heat build up inside the housing.
- Provide a fire-resistant coating for substrates. Super Therm has a "0" fire and smoke spread and will not contribute to flame.
Agricultural:
- Increase livestock profitability by reducing heat stress on all animal shelters, especially poultry, cattle, hogs, and horses

- To provide a fire-resistant coating for substrates. Super Therm® has a "0" fire and smoke spread and will not contribute to flame
Application Points
Although Super Therm® can be applied by non-professionals, SPC recommends using a certified applicator when used as a component of a commercial roofing solution.
Preparation:
- Surface must be clean and completely dry, with no loose debris or particles, rust, dirt, oil, films or residues of any kind. SUPER THERM® will cover previous coatings if they are fully adhered to the surface
- If over-coating an existing paint, make sure all gloss is removed from surface by sanding or minimum blast
- Mechanically stir, as ceramics will tend to settle
- Remove all filters from spray equipment
Application methods:
- Airless or pot sprayed: tip size .029-.032; apply in one coat using crosshatch method
- Roller: use 3/4" nap commercial roller; apply in two coats
- Brush: use soft bristle brush; apply in two coats
- Vertical surfaces should be applied in two coats
Applied rate:
- 100 sq. ft./gal. (9 sq.m./gal.)
Film thickness:
- Wet: 14-16 mils (350-400 microns)
- Dry: 8-10 mils (200-250 microns)
Temperature:
- 50 degrees F (10 degrees C) - 194 degrees F (90 degrees C)
- 72 degrees F (22 degrees C) best
Dry times:
- 1 hour to touch at 72 degrees F (22 degrees C)
- 4 hours to recoat
Full cure:
Limitations:
- Not suitable for underwater use of any kind
- Not recommended as the only fire protection material to be used in residential or industrial construction
- Do not use as a stand-alone floor coating
- Do not used directly on food preparation surfaces
- When used on internal ceilings and walls, once Super Therm® dries it can be painted over any color desired
- Super Therm® can only be tinted by special order from the factory only because of the ceramics used in the coating. Please used our "contact us icon" on our website www.spcinfo.com for any request for special order with color. Minimum volume required with surcharge for tint. Please be aware that darker colors will reduce effectiveness when used on external roofing as dark causes heat load to increase significantly on external roof.
For Commercial Business Clients (Non Residential) who wish to have a roofing warranty using Super Therm or Sunshield please contact us for a Certified Applicator in your area. In order to receive a roofing warranty, the products must be applied by a certified applicator
SunShield
SunShield combines four ceramic properties, that when applied to an exterior surface reflects heat and insulates. SunShield is formulated to be used on exterior roofs and walls only. SunShield will cure to a flexible, low permeability membrane that will reduce contaction and expansion, corrosion and surface deterioration of your home or office roof.
